Hello, my name is Jesus Ramos. I am a photographer.
I started to like photography when I was 16 years old; I used to have an old little camera, beginning to take pictures of my family, friends, places that I've gone to, etc...
I took art classes, journalism, and AV Tech classes. I was fascinated to be a part of those classes; I was the only one to take perfect pictures and post them on the school website. When I started college, I took some photography courses and was part of the photography group; I enjoyed those classes and was well thought out by professors.
So I decided to go a little deeper, back to the beginning. I got serious about photography when I bought my first digital point and shoot (a Nikon 3100). Before that camera, I casually photographed friends and flowers with my Sonny A1, but the world of the digital world opened my eyes to what was possible with photography. I had this little camera in my pocket that I could take anywhere. I could take a seemingly unlimited number of photos of anything that I w compared to film. This meant lots of pictures of friends and flowers.
Why Do I Love Photography?
Well, there's some reason why I do this not as a job site but more as a hobby. I usually do both, but I enjoyed it most of my life.
Because photography is the most seen in world history, you can create and collect them. Memories are always the last. Its always good to make memories because life is too short, and we don't know what the future holds. Friends, family, people you know, etc., change or move or go forever, and the only memories are in a picture.
I remember being fascinated by my photographs of nature. I enjoy going to the woods or hiking or camping; when I got my first camera, Nikon, I started to shoot wild birds because Birds are beautiful creatures that we can observe wherever we go. They are uninhibited at any time of the year and complain by singing. Some are trusting and allow us to get close to them to get a good picture; others not so much. We can observe them, listen to them and enjoy the gift they possess; seeing them in flight is a beautiful thing. Thanks to this exciting activity, we can be in direct contact with nature, get to know new places, travel, and return home with images that will allow us to relive the sensations experienced in the countryside, forest, mountain, lagoon, etc.
3. Bird photography is an exciting hobby that requires a lot of patience and mastery of our photographic equipment, once it becomes dangerously addictive since as we add new species to our collection, we will always be trying to improve ourselves. It is a pleasant activity that can be practiced as a family or with a few friends. Dare to go out because the moments that are lived in contact with nature are unforgettable. People who live in neighborhoods with more birds, bushes, and trees are less likely to suffer from depression, anxiety, and stress. This is confirmed in a study by researchers from the University of Exeter in the United Kingdom, the British Ornithological Fun, and the University of Queensland, Australia. The research, which involved hundreds of people, concluded that being able to see birds and vegetation close to home has beneficial effects on mental health, whether in urban neighborhoods or greener suburban areas. Birds around the house and in nature, in general, can be very effective in preventive health care, making cities healthier and happier places to live. Don't forget... More birds, less stress ;)
Photography is one of my passions to do
